Mr. Gaich is a partner in Appleseed Healthcare Resources. Specializing in areas such as Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, Service Line Economics and Leadership Development, Mr. Gaich brings to bear over 30 years of leadership experience. Prior to joining Appleseed Healthcare Resources, Mr. Gaich served as Vice President for Materials Management and Customer Service for Stanford University Medical Center. He has been recognized by Stanford Hospital and Clinics receiving the Stanford Hospital Malinda Mitchell Service Quality Department of the Year and Stanford Hospital Outstanding Contribution and Achievement Awards. He has also been recognized by the Healthcare Advisory Board and Highlighted in Michael L George “Lean Six Sigma for Service”.

In addition to serving as a partner in Appleseed Healthcare Resources, Mr. Gaich currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer for the Stanford Packard Center for Translational Research in Medicine, Stanford University School of Medicine. In this role Mr. Gaich oversees the SPCTRM organization which is a multi disciplined service organization providing support and infrastructure for Stanford’s clinical research community.

Mr. Gaich also has international experience, serving as the subject matter expert on a health system design project for the Ministry of Health in Qatar, UAE. As the supply chain lead, Mr. Gaich modeled and integrated a complete supply chain design for a Specialty Teaching Hospital in the Qatar Foundation’s Education City. This project was a joint effort with Cornell University.

Mr. Gaich graduated cum laude from National University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration. Mr. Gaich holds certifications in the Juran Institute of Quality Management Process Improvement and Development Dimensions International as a training facilitator for organizational management.
